OVERALL EVALUATION OF TY
Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed my year in TY, and I have learned a great amount from the experience. I feel i have matured as a person, and strengthened relationships with classmates and team mates. I have really taken a lot from the past few months, and i am really glad to have availed of all the opportunities given. It was a very different year in terms of doing activities outside of the classroom, and I tried to take advantage of this as much as possible. I took part in extra curricular activities such as the Barista Coffee Course, Gaisce, the Boxing Course, Scuba Diving, Public Access to Law, Tidy Towns and Gaelic Football. I also tried to get as involved as possible in school activities such as the Musical, Bag Packing and Hamper Packing, as well as trips away.
I feel i have learned plenty of personal skills in TY which will benefit me in 5th and 6th year. I will try to approach class work and study with a more mature attitude, and make a greater effort to make deadlines on time.
Overall this was a really fun year and a welcome change to the books. I would urge anyone going into TY to take part in as many things possible because it definitely makes the year more enjoyable and you get out what you put in!
